DAY 1                 LONDON to CIRENCESTER                    108 miles               Thursday 22 July 2010

Meeting with the riders from Accenture to chat about the two days ahead. 








Then time to greet His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent and introduce him to the team riding on Days 1 and 2.

First stop, McLaren's Technology Centre

Next stop Williams F1 and a great welcome and reception


  The team is met by Patrick Head and Nigel Received a special gift - a YELLOW shirt.   





















After lunch a look around the F1 car collection and a bit of time to chat with the Williams staff and management, many of whom are big bike enthusiasts.

        

Nigel meets the Williams apprentices and tells them stories about what it was like to drive the Williams F1 cars in the old days

         

Then back onto the road ...



Into Cirencester and a reception at Lodders Solicitors to mark the end of the first day

The Challenge was launched at MotoExpo in London in June by Prince Michael of Kent. During the press conference Nigel talked about his role as President as UK Youth and what this challenge means to him.
